

Notes that were circles or bars scrolling down were just way easier for me to read. Eventually I got to a point where arrows didn’t make sense anymore to me. I’d play on and off, usually Stepmania, but would also play the mania vers of Osu. I think it was around the time IIDX Sirius came out. Eventually I fell out of all of it but at the height of my career I was playing high level songs with decent to really good scores across the majority of these games. I also played DJMAX portable on PSP as well as Taiko no Tatsujin on PSP.

In between these I also got into DJMAX Online (2004 OG vers) and O2JAM. I played the ever living fuck out of them. I got a Japanese PS2, IIDX RED and Happy Sky for Christmas.

ITG came out and I moved to that for learning harder patterns and stamina with my feet, moved to spread play style for Stepmania. Little history about me: I started my rhythm game career in DDR, as I think most USA folks have. Sucking is the first step to getting good.
